MINISTRY, WALLS OF JERICHO, BLEEDING THROUGH Featured On '8 Songs To Die For'

After Dark Films is back again for another music release! This time they're taking all your favorite songs that were featured in horror movies which they're calling: "Eight Films to Die For" and bringing you a special soundtrack called, "Eight Songs to Die For". If you're wondering who on this green earth put this together, stop wondering because, it's the exact same team that produced the successful "Saw" soundtracks (Primary Wave's Jonathan Platt and Jonathan Miller). Those two genius's are the one's who selected the songs on both "8 Songs To Die For" and "8 Themes To Die For".

MINISTRY, WALLS OF JERICHO and BLEEDING THROUGH are among the featured artists on "8 Songs to Die For", the first branded soundtrack released by After Dark Films and Primary Wave Special Markets in conjunction with Horrorfest III aka "Eight Films To Die For".

Debuting in 2006, After Dark Films' Horrorfest "8 Films to Die For", is a one-week national film festival that celebrates all areas of the horror genre. In its first year, Horrorfest became the first film festival in history to break into the Top 10 at the national box office, grossing over $2.5 million!

Based on the highly successful "Eight Films To Die For" series, Primary Wave will be releasing "8 Songs To Die For" featuring songs inspired by the bloodcurdling, jump out of your seat movies that make up Horrorfest III — the biggest horror film festival on the plannet! The digital releases will include some hardcore metal bands such as: WALLS OF JERICHO ("The Prey"), BLEEDING THROUGH ("Death Anxiety"), MINISTRY ("Let's Go") and that's just to name a few.

"8 Themes To Die For" will contain songs and scores from the feature films in Horrorfest III; this year's lineup includes: "The Broken", "Autopsy", "Dying Breed", "Butterfly Effect 3", "From Within", "Slaughter", "Voices", and "Perkins' 14".

Walls of Jericho!

Walls of Jericho may sound somewhat like a Christian band, but the similarities end at the name: they're actually one of the heavier thrash bands on the planet at the moment. Headed by Candace Kucsulain, their songs are driven by her fairly shrill vocals and by the band's aggressive prowess for thunderous beat and driving melodies! Their debut landed in 1999 and did pretty well, but it would take the group several more years to assemble a follow-up. They finally completed their follow up in 2004. Their most recent effort, With Devils Amongst Us All, landed in 2006.
We love Walls of Jericho, because of Candace Kucsulain and her unrelenting pipes which manage to give the rest of the band a run for their money. The girl knows how to scream, and she does it very well, which makes their music aggressive and hardcore! The music is very strong and takes a hold of you, as her voice pulls you into it. With a voice like that and a talented team of musicians who consistently put in 110%, Walls of Jericho is one kick ass band!
