Emo Band, Thrusday!

Thursday is a kick ass rock band that came together in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1997. These bad boys quickly became one of the most well known bands in the emo scene. Their first album, "Waiting" didn't seem to get recognised or noticed when it was finally released in 1999, but then...just like that....BAM! The band switched it up with some brand new material and that's what kept the band rockin' out in people's heads.
When Thursday released their next single, "Understanding in a Car Crash," it was and instant hit and they became an official MTV band, after their kick ass video was played time and time again on TRL! Then in 2006, Thursday was ready to release, "A City by the Light Divided". The new album took them in a completely different direction, they figured they could come up with a new and different sound if they switched it up a bit. These emo boys are as emo as it gets! (If you like that sort of thing) You get two bands for the price of one! Some say their music can often be considered both metal and alternative (at the same time). Most people say, Thrusday is more emo then anything, a little whiny and a tad bit high pitch, leaving us all wondering........."ARE THESE GUYS STRAIGHT OR GAY?" Ah who cares, it's all about the music man!
