The Last Vegas recently came out with their first album after winning the Guitar Center On Stage contest and signing with Eleven Seven Music. The album is entitled, "Whatever Gets You Off", gotta love the album name! It offers high energy spectacles, with a deliciously trashy, roughed up edge, eliciting the inner rock star in all of us! Armed with their unbridled, raw talent, The Last Vegas sounds like a new-age mix between AC/DC and Guns N' Roses. The lineup includes, Chad Cherry on lead vocals, Nathan Arling kicking ass on the drums, Adam Arling and John Wator rocking out on guitar and Danny Smash slamming on bass!
The Last Vegas released their album, "Whatever Gets You Off" on March 15, 2009. Executive producers of the album include: Allan Kovac and rock legend himself, Nikki Sixx. The album offers high energy, fun catchy lyrics and unflinching consistency and delivery. 'I'm Bad' features lyrics like, "I'm bad, it's true. There's a little bit of me in everyone of you. Well I'm bad, it's true. You can say that I'm the devil and there's nothing you can do about it." Then we have "Appolgize" which caught my attention dead on and for a second, I thought I was listening to Guns N' Roses with a splash of Aerosmith. The song's on a different level from the others; it's very easy on the ears, it's not amp filled or high energy, but what it does offer is phenomenal! It's an outstanding song that is bound to give you goosebumps and leave you asking yourself, "whoa, where did these guys come from?" I haven't heard a band come out with a song like this since i've been alive and I can honestly say, this is the best album I've heard in a long time!
"Whatever Gets You Off" features infectious songs like: “I'm Bad” “High Class Trash” and “Apologize”; which are my favorite songs on the album. The good news is that the tracks that follow are just as good as the ones that precede them. The Last Vegas has the ability to switch up their sound in an instant, leaving each song on the album sounding completely different then the last; meaning Different sound, different feel and different energy, all in one band and how many bands can you say that about? I've asked myself the question numerous times and the answer is, not to many. The Last Vegas sounds different from any other rock band that's out right now, which makes them the first new generation rock band to successfully fuse new age rock with legendary rock.
Their name is The Last Vegas, their album is "Whatever Gets You Off" what's their recipe? Sounds like it could be, AC/DC with a spin of Guns N' Roses, a dash of Aerosmith, an album drenched in high-energy, leaving the outcome with all over taste of 'The Last Vegas'. Some people say musicians made the best music in the 80's, leave it to The Last Vegas to fuse rock legends like, AC/DC with Guns N' Roses and come up with their very own rock recipe.GET CRUE FEST 2009 TICKETS HERE!

The Last Vegas is currently the opening act for Motley Crue on The Saints of Los Angeles Winter

were neck in neck with hardcore rock bands through out the entire competition; going head to head and beating out kick ass bands like, Something to Burn, The Dirty Pearls, Five Star Failure and tuns of other bad ass bands. They were blown away
when they made it to the top 30 out of the thousands of bands who had entered
the contest. They were even more shocked as they made it to the top 6 out
of the top 30 finalists and STOKED when they found out they were in fact the winner
of the Motley Crue contest! They’re all really excited about winning and they'll be on tour with and opening for rock and roll legend,
Motley Crue! It’s a dream come true for the band and they couldn’t be happier. The band also received $25,000 cash,
$20,000 in exclusive gear from Gibson Guitar, management from the one and only
Tenth St. Entertainment and a killer recording deal from Eleven Seven Music! Being
Chicago’s most talked about rock band, they’ve already came crashing in and
were featured on Guitar Hero 2,
Nascar.com, NBC Sports, UK's Kerrang Radio, MTV, MTV2, Fox, Fuel TV, Fearless
TV/Radio, Q101, WLUP, The G-Hole, Camel Farm Program and their tunes are also
the official music theme for Kyle Busch Motor Sports.
They’ve been busy independently touring their ass off in over 17 countries
within the USA/Canada/Mexico and Mainland Europe in the last few years. If that’s
not impressive enough, they have independently sold over 10,000 records on
their own and they’re ready and can’t wait to hop on tour with Motley Crue and
sell thousands more! CONGRATULATIONS!
