This Stevenville Texas 5 piece alternative/rock band has been together since 1994 and the band includes, Donald Carpenter on vocals, Kelan Luker on bass, TJ Davis rockin out on the guitar, Garrett Whitlock on the drums, and Justin Finley on the guitar. In 2004 they recorded their first demo C.D which contained 3 songs, "Deny Me", "You Run" and "Unconcerned". (All 3 were very different then the songs you hear on the "In Due Time" C.D) They later deceided to call their demo, song ideas as oppose to demos. Their demo C.D found its way into the hands to Mark Tremonti (of Creed and Alter Bridge) who was instantly impressed with what he heard and was ready to step in and help them any way possible. Mark Tremonti presented Submersed to Windup Records and let the label know Submersed was kickass and he was behind them 100% and they were signed the very next day. They got to work and imediately started writing material for their latest album and doing everything in their power to prepare themselves for their first studio session. These first sessions would spawn their earliest known recordings for "Dripping", "Broken Man", "Finding You" and many others. Finally confident and comfortable with their kick ass songs, the band took center stage in front of tens of thouands of people, playing an opening set for the massive rock band Creed. This brought them several hundreds of fans, and word quickly spread around the internet about how kick ass they were at the show. Mark Tremonti was so confident in Submerced that he produced the session for their first single, "All Things Beginning of an End". The resulting material was so strong that the band called for last minute scrapping of all things in favor of writing and recording new material. The resulting record, "In Due Time" was released in mid-2004. With massive sales, possitive feedback and the hit single, "Hollow" Submersed was doing extreemly well on the music charts. Submersed set out on thier first full scale national tour as an opening act for "Alter Bridge". With massive promotion Submersed was doing subsantially well gaining plenty of fans and other bands out there were taking note of the new band as well. Submersed were promoted to the second opening slot of the night due to public demand. The band seemingly couldn't stop touring; setting out once more with Theory of a Deadman after the Alter Bridge gig came to a close. In 2007 they came out with their hit single, "Better Think Again" which sent them flying to #1 on the charts and was demanded on every radio station by the fans! The foundation for their future has been laid and with huge names behind them you can't go wrong. These guys know how to rock out, they've written material, recorded, toured and they're demanded for more. When all said and done you can't go wrong by simply saying, these guys kicks ass!
