Man Automatic is a Northern California based hard rock band that has been together since 2003. This 4 piece consists of Xander’s amazing voice on vocals, Nick Osa rockin’ out on guitar, Donny Tyner beating the shit out of the drums and Rob Lugo rockin’ out on bass. Put these four together and you have on hell of a rock band!
In the fall of 2006, Man Automatic caught the eye of record producer, Malcolm Springer (Matchbox 20, Collective Soul), he was so blown away by what he heard that he instantly grabbed the band by the horns and took charge; bringing them to Nashiville to record their first EP. The result of their efforts was a kick ass 5-song masterpiece, loaded with emotion and musical vitality.

These guys have an outrageous energy that pulls you in and will leave you on your feet begging for more! Man Automatic knows how to put on one hell of a show; with their amazing out of this world stage performance, catchy lyrics, high energy and their heavy unique distinctive sound, you can’t help but take notice of these guys! They’ve already played with hard rock mainstays, Static X, Floater, Powerman 5000 and many other killer bands. Their latest EP, “In The Eyes of a Child” was released in Spring of 2007 and was mixed and remasted by Grammy Award winning engineer; Thom Russo (Audioslave, System of a Down and Johnny Cash). Thom instantly took charge of Man Automatic, mixing and remastering their EP “In the Eyes of a Child” and the EP came alive! “The EP came out really strong,” says Russo, “they are a stellar band.”
They offer up raw, edgy anthems in a high energy show! They’ve went head to head in battle of the bands, competing with many others and constantly coming out on top and standing out amongst the rest; they have a very vibrant sound with hard hitting metal, heavy guitar riffs, high energy and a very unique sound that’ll leave you playing your air guitar long after the songs are over. These guys are full of energy and know how to rock the house! They sound awesome and they know how to get the audience up and dancing! Lets just say Man Automatic knows how to put on one hell of a show; cranking out hardcore and metalcore! Hard to say which impressed us more: The killer unique sound or their impressive energy through out the entire show. They’re completely unique in every aspect, there aren't many rock bands on this planet that wouldn't like to be regarded as unique. Of course, in these times of nostalgia and endlessly recycled ideas, very few actually deserve that description. With their rock star image, tight melodies, intense breath taking lyrics, and extremely catchy hooks; Man Automatic are destined to be trend setters for this generation.
