LIMP BIZKIT members Fred Durst and Wes Borland are featured on the March 24, 2009 episode of rapper Snoop Dogg's MTV variety talk show, "Dogg After Dark". A short clip of Durst explaining the band's decision to reunite for an upcoming tour and studio album can be viewed below.
Durst says, "When you have the chemistry, or something that really works, you can go away for a while and do your thing, but LIMP BIZKIT will never work like it's supposed to work without the original DNA. The band sounds doper than we ever have, it's tighter than it's ever been, there's something happening — something very special happening with us. We needed that break, and now we're back, and it feels like we're stronger than ever."
LIMP BIZKIT announced last month its decision to return from an eight-year hiatus. Durst and Borland said in a joint statement, "We decided we were more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other. Regardless of where our separate paths have taken us, we recognize there is a powerful and unique energy with this particular group of people we have not found anywhere else. This is why LIMP BIZKIT is back."

KORN and LIMP BIZKIT are set to tour together again! They'll going on tour with the original lineup this Summer 2009! The two bands have toured together several times during the late '90s, most notably on the first edition of KORN's Family Values tour. The two bands were right at the forefront of the "nu-metal" scene at the time. Now that LIMP BIZKIT is reuniting after being on hiatus for several years KORN frontman Jonathan Davis said that his relationship with singer Fred Durst has been strained for a while. Surprised? "I'm happy that they're gonna play, but I just hope Fred just isn't an ass like he usually is!" he said. "We'll have to wait and see what happens. Hopefully Fred's got it together, 'cause there was one time when Fred was a really cool guy. Then the fame hit and went straight to his head! I miss the old Fred. He was my buddy. So maybe he's humbled now and if he's like that then I'd definitely hang with him and be friends with him again."
LIMP BIZKIT and their original lineup is getting back together for a summer tour and to work on a brand new album, its very first one since 2003!
KORN and LIMP BIZKIT will play on several European festivals together this summer, which will give Fred and Jonathan a chance to share a bed and renew their friendship.
