Harris Grade, Best New Band of 2008!

Harris Grade originated in Los Angeles, CA. in 2005. They rocked out for 2years perfecting their sound before launching themselves into the rock scene in 2007. The bands lineup includes front man Robyn August, Alex Vonhollen and Caleb Healey rockin out on guitar, Brandon Crowell on Bass and Jarrett Plett rockin out on the drums. Their name came from a thin windy road that connects Lompoc with Santa Maria. A lot of people have died on the road and like the band, the road’s there to stay; it’s pretty much a landmark.
Front man Robyn August grew up in Lompoc, CA. but moved to Los Angeles in 2000 to attend school at CSUN before coming together with the band in 2005. Kick ass drummer, Jerrett Plett’s originally from Vancouver but he's lived in the Los Angeles area forever. The rest of the band pretty much grew up around each other in the Los Angeles area. They’ve all been in the scene forever, growing up with bands like, Escape the Fate and Love Hate Hero before starting their own.
People are drawn to their distinctive sound and kick ass lyrics. These guys know how to rock out! With kick ass songs like, “Hold on for your life” and “Slow dance fast” you can’t help but love these guys.
Led by vocalist Robyn August, Harris Grade spent 2 years perfecting their sound before coming out and putting on a killer show in Hollywood. The crowd watched wide eyed as they came out, rocked it and owned the stage. After their performance people went crazy; comparing them to everyone from Thrice to Atreyu. Harris Grade continues to come up with fresh new music and kick ass songs that will leave you asking yourself, “When’s the tour?”.
Their shows continue to sell out in Hollywood CA. and these bad boys are here to make an impression in 2008! Their popularity continues to grow by the day and although their not currently signed with a label, they’re looking for the right label to sign with and they’re ready as ever to come out and kick ass this year!
