GUNS N' ROSES Joined By SIXX: A.M. Guitarist D.J. ASHBA!

GUNS N' ROSES has announced that guitarist D.J. Ashba has joined the band for the upcoming tour!

DJ Ashba who's best known as co-founder of SIXX AM and Beautiful Creatures will officially be replacing current NINE INCH NAILS guitarist Robin Finck in the Guns N' Roses line-up! This should work out well, D.J ASHBA's amazing! He's an all around talent; this should be a good match.

"D.J.'s a gifted, energetic guitarist that GUNS N' ROSES is proud to have on board!" exclaims Axl Rose. "We're very excited to have the opportunity to work together. GUNS' radar has silently been aware of D.J.'s presence for quite some time! He brings a fresh approach to our particular brand of mayhem expanding the tapestry of GUNS N' ROSES live. Once D.J.'s name was in the hat, the hat disappeared!"

Ashba stated, "It's an honor to have the opportunity to be a part of a band that I have always loved and respected. I'm looking forward to working with Axl, who is not only one of the few great frontmen of our generation, but a true artist."

D.J. Ashba co-wrote and co-produced MÖTLEY CRÜE's latest album, "Saints of Los Angeles", which garnered a 2008 Grammy nomination for "Best Hard Rock Performance", as well as co-wrote and co-produced the SIXX: A.M. album "Heroin Diaries".

GUNS N' ROSES: Planning a co-headlining tour with VAN HALEN!

Axl Rose intends to take GUNS N' ROSES out on a worldwide stadium tour  this summer with VAN HALEN!

It's said that Van Halen will be co-headlining the Guns N' Roses world wide tour! The tour is scheduled to take place this Summer. More details will be announced as they come.

"Axl has been basically quiet, keeping out of the limelight for almost 15 years," says Guns N' Roses manager, Irving Azoff. He went on to say, "People think they know him, but they really only know what has been said about him by questionable people. He's a good guy and often misunderstood. We have some exciting things in the works this year for Guns N'Roses. I'm looking forward to it."

GUNS N' ROSES' new album, "Chinese Democracy", was officially certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America on February 3, 2009. They officially hit the one million mark, selling one million copies of their album; "Chineese Democracy".

SLASH's Wife Calls AXL ROSE A 'Loser' WTF?!

Perla Hudson (Former Guns N' Roses groupie) now wife of former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Slash, has responded to a newly published interview with Guns N'Roses singer Axl Rose in which he describes Slash as "a cancer." WTF?!

Addressing the possibility of a reunion of GUNS N' ROSES' classic lineup, Rose said in a friendly chat with his pal, songwriter Del James, that was posted on AOL Music, that it was "highly doubtful for us to have more than one of the alumni up with us at any given time."

Axl went on to say, "I suppose (former bass player) Duff (McKagan) could play guitar on something somewhere but there's zero possibility of me having anything to do with Slash. In a nutshell, personally I consider him a cancer and better removed, avoided and the less anyone heard of him or his supporters the better."

Slash's wife (former Guns N' Roses groupie) Perla wrote on her official myspace blog, "Have any of you seen that angry shit that Axl had to say about Slash? I just wish he was man enough to talk shit to Slash's face!...LOSER!"

Slash is an all time rock and roll legend and so is Axl. What made Axl get his boxers in a knot in the first place...that's the real question!

That's right, SLASH himself joined myspace music and you know what that means! Fans from all over the globe can now become friends with Slash by visiting his official MySpace Music page..okay who are we kidding, in this day and age everyone know's how to visit myspace right? How Did the "new" GUNS N' ROSES album, "Chinese Democracy" Fall So Short Of Expectations?

Ed Christman of Reuters/Billboard reports: When Wal-Mart sold 784,000 copies of AC/DC's "Black Ice" during the album's first week in stores, many label executives believed that more superstars would release albums exclusively through big-box retailers.

And when Best Buy experienced disappointing sales of GUNS N' ROSES' "Chinese Democracy", some of those same executives thought, well, maybe not.

"Chinese Democracy" (Interscope), the rock act's first album of all-new material in 17 years, sold 261,000 units in its first week of availability, according to Nielsen SoundScan. That included sales at Best Buy, exclusive digital retailer iTunes and other stores selling import versions of the album.

Meet Slash's Wife!

The Rockerrazzi web site recently conducted an interview with Slash’s wife, Perla Hudson, the wife of former GUNS N' ROSES and current VELVET REVOLVER guitarist Slash (real name: Saul Hudson). She was very open in the interview saying, they met backstage at a GUNS N’ ROSES show and he was a groupies dream come true. She even revealed that Slash’s fourth-coming album will feature guests such as, Ozzy Osborne and you’re not even going to believe this but it’s true…the one and only Fregie (aka Stacy Ann Ferguson) will also be featured on the new album! Who would have thought? Play the video below to hear the interview.

Slash will be getting all riled up and playing his only hard-hitting European solo concert of 2009 at next year’s edition of the Quart festival. This major festival is currently set to take place June 30-July 4, 2009 in
Kristianstand Norway. That’ll be a show not to be missed! He’ll be taking center stage and performing with both new and old material. He’ll even be joined by special guests which have not yet been revealed, but we have a pretty good idea of who the “special guests” might be...Ozzy, Fergie and that’s just to name a couple. Who knows what’s in store for this special event but whatever it is, it’s going to be massive!

Guns "N" Roses, The Music Lives On..

Guns N' Roses is an all American hard rock band which originated in Los Angeles, California, in 1985. Having a lifetime estimated sales of 90 million record worldwide, they are considered one of the most successful American bands ever. Their debut album, 1987's Appetite for Destruction, eventually went on to sell 25 million copies alone. Their gritty musical style, heavy stage presence, and "bad-ass" image helped lead the rising hard rock scene of the 80's and 90's. In a time when Glam Metal was dominant, Guns N' Roses' presented a more traditional, original style of hard rock, which caught the ear of millions of fans. After making a lot of noise, the band sadly broke up in 1994 due to the rising popularity of other genres, specifically Nirvana's grunge. Throughout the years, Guns N' Roses went through scores of members, but in 1997, Axl Rose became the only remaining original member, and received the rights to the name. In an era when the poodle haired rock of Poison, Hanoi Rocks, and Motley Crue ruled the airwaves, Guns N' Roses provided a grittier alternative.
