STATIC-X and EVANESCENCE Drummer Team Up for Tour!

Los Angeles-based metal band STATIC-X has asked drummer Will Hunt (EVANESCENCE) to fill in for Nick Oshiro on the group's upcoming tour!

For some unknown crazy reason, Nick Oshiro won't be able to make the tour, so Hunt will be his replacement. Oshiro is reportedly "taking a break" from STATIC-X, but has not officially left the band.

The Best Buy-exclusive version of STATIC-X's new album, "Cult of Static", which is scheduled for release on March 17, 2009 via Reprise Records, will feature two bonus tracks — "W.F.O." and a cover of MÖTLEY CRÜE's "Looks That Kill".
