ADLER'S APPETITE's current lineup is rounded out by Steven Adler himself rockin' out on the drums, Alex Grossi (HOOKERS 'N' BLOW, ex-QUIET RIOT) on guitar, Michael Thomas (FASTER PUSSYCAT) on guitar, and Chip Z'nuff (ENUFF Z'NUFF) on kicking ass on bass.
ADLER'S APPETITE commemorated the 20th anniversary of Guns N' Roses classic debut "Appetite for Destruction" in 2007 by touring South America. However, Adler was forced to cancel a European tour with the band due to "personal issues." Adler clearly realized it was time to come face to face with those personal issues and checked into "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew", he made his way through rehab and after that he checked into, "Celebrity Sober House with Dr. Drew". "Celebrity Rehab Presents Sober House," was aired as an eight-episode, one hour series that premiered on VH1 January 15, 2009. Adler cleared his head and went back to the one thing he loves the most which is Music, he decided it was time to get out there and do what he does best; rock out and play drums in a kick ass rock band!
The other members of GUNS N' ROSES band threw Adler out in 1989, saying his drug use was harming his performance but he's one hell of a drummer. Then in 1993, the band agreed to pay him $2.3 million to settle Adler's lawsuit claiming a 1990 agreement by which he gave up his interest in the band was read to him and signed without his attorney present. Deep down he still longed to be part of the band and kept in close contact with Slash, the one person who never gave up on him.
