Staind vocalist, Aaron Lewis Hits The Road Solo!
STAIND frontman Aaron Lewis is getting ready to hit the road for his annual post-holiday solo acoustic tour! It's going to be crazy, the tour will kick off Friday (January 2) in the Green Valley Ranch resort in Henderson, Nevada.
After he's done wrapping up his solo tour and a hardcore tour with Stained that will take place sometime after the new year, Aaron Lewis hopes to get back in the studio in early spring to start recording his first solo album! Although he wants to produce the project himself, he said that those plans could always change. "I'll be doing it at my house in my studio, and I'm very open-minded," he said. "If we get to a point and I'm just like, 'You know what? To take these songs to the next level I've got to get (STAIND producer) Johnny K. to come up here and help me out a little bit,' then that's what I'll do. But as it stands, I'm gonna attempt to do it myself."
STAIND will head to Europe for a month of hardcore touring, dates beginning in mid-January. They're all really excited to get their butts back on the road and continue to support their latest album, "The Illusion of Progress".
The band has posted a video online for a new single from the CD, "The Way I Am", which follows "Believe" and "All I Want".
