Smile Empty Soul is a California based alternative rock band that’s been around for about 4years. This 3 piece consists of Ryan Martin on bass guitar, Sean Danielsen on guitar and vocals and Jake Kilmer on the drums. They first signed with lava/Atlantic records in 2003 and released their first album, “Smile Empty Soul” which included their hit song, “Bottom of the Bottle” which flew to #1 on the billboard charts. They were then dropped by Lava/Atlantic in 2005, but they had the album “Anxiety” in the making and they were determined to stay on top and keep on rockin! They came back better and stronger then ever and went on to record “Vultures” their most significant album to date. In August 2006 Smile Empty Soul started MRAfia Bieler Bros Records. Since then, they’ve already toured the U.S twice in support of their hit album “Vultures”, which includes songs like “Live Forever” and their hit song, “Adjustments” which flew to #1 on the charts! With extensive non-stop touring and promotion, they established a huge fan base! These bad boys have toured with all the big names in rock today including, Breaking Benjamin, Puddle Of Mudd, three days grace, Seether and that's just to name a few. They came back determined and on a mission to become rock kings and with excessive touring and releasing kick ass albums, they did just that! These guys are survivors, when at their lowest point, they know how to come back stronger and better then ever and how many bands can you say that about?
