After 2 years of dating, MOTLEY CRUE bassist Nikki Sixx and LA INK hottie Kat-Von-D
called it quits.
The two ended their 2 year romance yesterday and are choosing to keep the breakup personal. Nikki Sixx "Officially" released this statement on the NIKKI SIXX and KAT-VON-D split:
“I want to wish Katherine nothing but the best
in her life. She has loved and inspired the hell outta me and I know I have
done the same for her in these almost two years we ruled the earth together. We
are taking a break from our relationship for reasons that we will choose to
keep personal. You won’t find me saying a bad word about her and I don’t
believe vice versa… We have too much wonderful history together to ever deface
that.”
Rewinding it back to the old school, like it's 2001 again! Adema: Giving in. Off their self-titled album: Adema. Such a great song and video! Complete masterpiece, that's all I have to say about that!

perfect song for getting the party started! Where's it playing? In my

station you can possibly sink your teeth into, you betcha! In every
late night limo turned up to the max.. count on it!!! Best rock song of
the year in my opinion, it's just that killer! Give it a listen, the

Former GUNS N' ROSES and current ADLER'S APPETITE drummer Steven Adler has issued the following update:
"Oh, man, this [most recent ADLER'S APPETITE U.S.] tour was great! Thank you so much to everybody that came out to see us, to everybody that hung around and had all those nice things to say… Man, we played places…we played a cornfield! Iowa! They flattened a cornfield out and put in a mini-carnival. They had a semi-trailer-truck and put a PA in it, and we played the show in a fucking cornfield! It was called 'Cornstock!' So many great shows, great people"
"Morale within the [ADLER'S APPETITE] band is fabulous! Ricky [vocalist Rick Stitch] did a great job! We lost him in Chicago; he went out with some chick and never came back to the bus, so he had to catch another flight to make it home. He's havin' a great time and it was a great time. I love and thank each one of the guys; Alex [Grossi; guitar], Michael [Thomas; guitar], Chippy [Chip Z'nuff; bass], they were all at the top of their game, totally professional. The people loved them, of course!
"The audiences were fabulous! We put on such a big show; it's an arena show we put out! You go see bands at clubs and bars, you don't usually see people chanting, singing along with every word with their hands and arms up in the air. Even if it's just a hundred people, it looks like so much more with all the hands in the air 'cause they all are so into it! I swear (the audience ages) were anywhere from six to sixty! I couldn't believe it, but all I can say is so many people really loved our show and said it was better than when they saw what Axl [Rose] was doin'. It's crazy, but that's the main thing I heard! So we're workin' on getting more goin', there's a few shows comin' up and hey, I love you all, God bless, and thank you!"

NINE INCH NAILS frontman Trent Reznor has been the recipient of acclaim from members of New York's government for his efforts to raise money for Eric De La Cruz, a 27-year-old Nevada man with no insurance in need of a heart transplant. According to RollingStone.com, New York Senator Charles Schumer and Governor David Patterson wrote a letter and proclamation thanking Reznor for his work on the campaign, which raised almost a million dollars for De La Cruz. The letters from Schumer and Patterson, along with letters from several other New York government officials, were given to Reznor last month when NIN played in Wantagh, New York.
According to the NIN Hotline, fan Mike Caplice surprised Reznor with the letters backstage. Caplice wrote in an email, "I wanted the entire NIN community to see that their efforts have been recognized by all levels of government. I'm an 18-year fan of the band who has two parents with cancer, and have seen just how flawed the U.S. health care system is. I thought this was a really special moment for all of us who have seen the band and the community evolve over the years into a really positive and powerful force."
Reznor and tourmates JANE'S ADDICTION raised the money by offering a variety of deluxe VIP packages to fans attending their concerts. The packages included meetings with the bands, chances to watch soundchecks and other incentives.
